How This 7-Week Cohort Will Work

I’m going to challenge you to choose redemptive quests—goals pursued with God, like God, and for God. But the what of that goal can vary widely.
Not at all! If you haven’t read Redeeming Your Time, it’s honestly better for you to start with Redeeming Your Goals. But if you’re one of the 50,000+ readers who have read that book, you’ll notice that I’m applying the same gospel-centric, practical playbook you loved to the topic of goals.
Absolutely not! If you don’t have a goal in mind yet, the first two weeks will help you identify a redemptive quest you can pursue with, like, and for God. And if you have already set a goal, this program will help you pursue it in a Christlike way.

Each week for seven weeks, it will take you ~30 minutes to read a chapter of the book and another ~30 minutes to complete a small assignment I’ve designed to help you implement what you read. If you choose to attend the community Zooms, those will be one additional hour each.
But in case you can’t make any of the calls, those will be recorded and archived for you to view later on.

About Me
Rather than treating God as a means to achieving goals (like some authors do) or ignoring God altogether (like most authors do), I believe God is the goal. Goals are merely a vehicle for experiencing his presence and accomplishing his purposes.
But as you’ll see in the book, God can use a wide variety of goals to that end. By God’s strength and grace alone, I have set and achieved goals like:
- Losing 50 pounds (and keeping it off)
- Building two businesses that created 150+ jobs
- Signing nine book deals with the world’s largest publisher
- Helping more than 7,000,000 Christians connect their faith to their work
- Baptizing my two eldest daughters
But most importantly, I’ve learned that as Christians, we don’t pursue goals to earn God’s love. We pursue them as a worshipful response to the love that is already ours through Christ. That is what motivates us to redeem our goals and pursue them with God, like God, and for God.
And that’s exactly what I want to help you do in the Redeeming Your Goals Coaching Community.
